At the end of every summer I look high and low for the perfect teacher planner. In the end I find myself spending way too much money, on a planner that is “too much” for me. I discovered the more simple the layout, the least likely I am to revert back to my ‘write it on a sticky note’ system.
This is for my fellow teachers, who like a simple, no frills, easy to use planner.
But First…Lets Bring Back that 90s Nostalgia
Because I like a more simple approach to my planners, all I do is print a weekly planning template, 3 hole punch it and then put it in my,,,Trapper Keeper! Your coolness factor just jumped WAY up if you walked into a staff meeting carrying this bad boy! Not only does this take me back to my childhood, but I like that it is lightweight, not big and bulky, and is still able to hold everything I need. It also comes in several different colors and designs.
In this binder I keep my weekly and monthly planner, any important forms and information, and a snazzy pencil pouch to hold a couple flair pens, and highlighters.
Instead of spending close to $50 on a planner, both the binder and planner cost me under $20! Need I say more?!
Lets bring back that 90s nostalgia this year and try out a simple approach to a teacher planner!
